A few folks who aren't bona fide recruiters have been trying to post their spamvertisements on this forum. THEY ARE NOT WELCOME HERE!
Bona fide recruiting companies are allowed to post ads in the jobs forums, and hopefully those listings are of use to members here. But, those just trying to make a quick buck with their spams, who aren't bona fide agencies, will be banned.

To further reduce the incidence of spam, we now ask all those registering for an account to explain why they want to join NurseChat.com, and furthermore we will manually check each account registration. Usually spammers don't want to spend too much effort, so we hope these measures will deter them from visiting this site.

Part of the problem is Russia and China have no laws against spammers and so many of the spam messages that populate most forums will continue. The other problem is Googlebot. This a computer signal that counts the number of hits a forum gets and places the more frequent earlier in the search index. Spammers tap into this signal and so, the bigger and more frequently used a forum gets the more spam it will recieve too. I am an administrator on another forum and I have to delete about 10 applicants a day. Mostly porn, and pharmacy products but if someone clicks on their links then they better have good spyware removers and antivirus filters. I have loads of protection but I once was not sure if we had a genuine member applying or not, so I clicked onto the web site they gave. It was porn and I had to filter out 2 virus' and 17 tracking cookies instaled in less than thirty seconds. They are a real pain and dangerous too.
