I have many friends who have gone to California to nurse and love it. They are treating them extremely well. They are doing Primary Nursing which is always a draw. Plus the warmth and sunshine is all the incentive they needed. Wouldn't it be nice if all hospitals treated the staff they already had that way????

I had the pleasure of playing the role of an RN extra in the made for TV movie " Rise and Walk; The Dennis byrd Story " myself and other nurses chosen form the hospital staff were frequently asked by the directors for technical views as to the real look of the ER and Pts. I feel the knowlege we can give the movie media can only improve the publics views of healthcare workers.

Did they compensate you for your technical expertise? Or did you do let them work out over for free ?

Hey Sleepless, that must have been fun!! biggrin.gif

I had no idea we had a TV show...I'll have to see if I can find it. I'd love a REALISTIC TV show featuring nurses! But too often we see disrespectful stereotypes dry.gif
