i was informed that my father in law had some lower stomach pain. the nurse said she "milked" him.

Does that mean what I think it means?! This is a serious question. My wife is upset and I am trying top help explain it away. any help would be appreciated.

Uh....I never heard of "milking" anything but chest tubes. Why don't you ask the nurse? If it did indeed mean what you're wondering.... her supervisor needs to know about her "treatment."

I agree with 3boyzmom. The only thing I have ever heard of milking was chest tubes. I would ask the nurse what she meant by that, and if it was at all inappropriate, I would report it to her supervisor. unsure.gif

I have to agree with Mom and Courtney, the only milking i have ever heard of is the milking of chest tubes or certain drains ex.. jackson pratt drains .. so i think your mother in law needs to ask your father in law what exactly did he get milked.. Nawlinsgirl
Success stems from hard work, devotion, and the ability to learn from one's mistakes.

Never heard of it.

What does your FIL say about what was done ?

Was the 'expression' heard correctly ?
