Well with the news that Qld Specialists and doctors have just taken the state government to the cleaners where do you think this will leave the nurses claim for wages.
Nurses have only been battling for years for recognition but it takes doctors a matter of what? weeks to broker a hundred billion dollar deal!
If only Nurses had the gumption to walk out like the doctors and specialists did!
Any comments?

not sure where you are located, but the going rate in my area (90 miles from chicago) is around 19 hourly for LPNs. Not sure what the RN is making, but 29 seems to fit. (this is for experienced nurses) The closer to the large city you are located, the higher your pay will be. Lower in economically depreciated areas, like little towns in southern Il. I had a nurse in Maine tell me that she makes more working in a factory there, than as a nurse!
Perhaps to travel to a larger city would not be a bad idea?

( I think this pay is pretty good actually)

Success stems from hard work, devotion, and the ability to learn from one's mistakes.
