I was *thisclose* in sending my application into that school. I was also looking into Jewish Hospital College. What I dont like about Deaconess is that your first year is done online and you have to find your own clinical site, plus its over $400 per credit hour, the 2 year ASN-RN program was going to cost me $30,000 total. I have looked into other schools and have finally picked one. Have you looked into Luthern School of Nursing? Their RN program is 22 months, or they have an LPN program that is 14 months. I have picked Luthern after much consideration, they seem the best to me. Plus, my mother-in-law is a Nurse and recieves a Newsletter, I looked at Deaconess and the % rate of graduates, I will just say that I didn't like their numbers, they dont seem to have a high % rate of graduates.
Good Luck. Also check out the BBB to see if they have had complaints. Do some checking around.
