Hi all -

My hubby & I have been talking about visiting the UK & would love to have a working vacation there (I work & he vacations {What's wrong with this picture!!})

Have done some travel assignments here in the states & enjoyed [color=red]really
getting to know the people & areas. Positions have been great & wonderful learning experiences.

Problem is, I havn't been able to find any agencies with positions in The UK. Hope someone out there can help!

Thanx - - Juju

hi,
i am an american nurse who's been working in england for about 3 years, it's very different, but not really better or worse. i didn't use an agency, just applied to a hospital when i was here on holiday and then followed up with a telephone interview when i got my paperwork ready. the hospital applies for yur work permit and i think you hubby may be allowed to work while he is here with you.

this is a link to the nurse regulatory body here in england, that's where you should start.

if you have any questions ask away, there are not too many american nurses here, they all want to go to the states!! but american nurses generally have good experience and have no trouble finding a a job.
