This position is with our Care Fusion division. Care Fusion is a premier provider of mobile clinical solutions for acute care providers. The company's proven laboratory, nursing and physician workflow solutions are specifically designed to enhance efficiency and improve patient safety.
Summary:
The Clinical Implementation Trainer will lead customer training initiatives for clinical end users of Care Fusion mobile clinical solutions. This individual will be responsible for the preparation of all course training materials and training aids. In addition to developing and conducting the instruction, he/she will monitor the effectiveness of training and revise/update training materials accordingly.
This position is located in Reston, VA
The typical duties performed on a daily basis are:
1. Provide training services for our mobile clinical solutions to clinical end users, in hospitals nationwide
2. Work closely with nursing, pharmacy, laboratory, and IT personnel within a hospital or acute setting
3. Display strong industry and product knowledge
4. Report training activities to project management
5. Assist with procedural changes needed for technology change over
Requirements:
Qualified candidates will meet each of the following requirements:
1. Bachelor's degree in technical or Medical discipline or equivalent training. RN, MS or MBA desirable
2. At least 3+ years experience as a trainer teaching clinical applications to end users
3. A minimum of 2+ years experience developing training materials
4. The ability to travel 75%-80% of the time
5. Excellent customer relationship skills
6. Strong computer skills, specifically, knowledge of systems used in healthcare systems
7. Exceptional communication skills in person and written
8. Intermediate to Expert experience with MS Windows, Power Point, Word, Excel, and MS Project.
