NICU NURSE MANAGER

An opportunity is currently available for an experience NICU Nurse Manager for our Level II and Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit. NICU experience and background is a must; experience in a Trauma Center is desirable. Must provide evidence of leadership and management continuing education activities. BSN required within two years of job assignment. Masters in Nursing or related field preferred. Must have current Florida RN license and BLS certification. One to two years supervisory or Charge Nurse experience. Three to five years clinical experience.

Reports to the Executive Director of Nursing. Responsible for: the day-to-day operations and professional nursing practice of assigned unit(s); hiring and firing of nursing personnel, periodic employee evaluations, orientation of new employees, marketing of services and performance improvement activities; cost center(s) budgets. Supervises RN's, Patient Care Associates, Clerical Associates and other clinical support personnel.
