Going to take the boards in a few weeks and I am starting to feel a little panicky. Does anyone have any pointers? I have been told there is no need to study, because you have no clue what is on it. I have been taking sample nclex tests, just to practice answering these type of questions. I hope this is actually doing me some good. Any advice would be soooo helpful! smile.gif

thanks in advance

The best advice I can give is this.................

breathe in

breathe out

repeat often!!!

Seriously.......get lots of rest (drink a cup of chamomile tea before bed), get there (the testing center) with plenty of time to get the feel of the place and relax!!! I, too, was a nervous wreck and studied til I thought my brain would POP!!! I wish you the very best of luck and PLEASE keep us posted on how you did!!

I remember when I took my boards....13 years ago....I was amazed at how many of the questions were on my "weak points".......later found out that was ON PURPOSE!! Tests we had taken earlier in the school year were sent in to the state board of nursing and they "formulated" our tests!! Lucky for me, I had brushed up on my "weak points" and did okay!!! I have no doubt that you will pass and be on your way to a wonderful and rewarding career!! hang in there!! wink.gif
