Hey,
First of all I wanted to thank you for replying to my postings. I realy like this site. I started as a new nurse recently, and I was thinking to join a nursing organization. Any ideas of what is there and why is it imporant to be a member? Also, I like nursing a lot, and would like to go further in my career. I was thining about BSN, and maybe even Nurse Practitioner, but I am not sure what I can do exactly with it? What are my opportunities, and do I have to do 2 year program after Masters, or just MSn is enough for NP?
Thank you

I found specialty organizations well worth joining. Not only was there great learning opportunities, it did look good on evaluations and resumes.
