I think that using one's own stem cells, or even stem cells from cord blood, is fine. Embryonic stem cells, however, is a definate no.

I feel the same way. Lately the push seems to be for embryonic cells, when we can get the stem cells elsewhere. This troubles me.
Lots of people hate Bush because he is against government funded embryonic stem cell research. If someone or some organization wants to do so privately, (and I'm sure they already are)he would not oppose it. But I agree the government should not pay for/sponsor this ...too many citizens oppose it.
Success is the best revenge.

I sit on the fence. I see all the good that has come from the research but not sure I like the idea of creating an embryo for research.
