Success stems from hard work, devotion, and the ability to learn from one's mistakes.

Oh my gosh, how tragic. Clearly he didn't mean to harm her, but he also obviously has some problems with judgment and authority. (having been warned before that the defibrillator is not a toy, and also having been told by the victim once "don't touch me with that!")

I sometimes think that more careful screening of applicants in any part of the medical field would be a good idea. Psychological screening probably should be included.

OMG. Why did the EMT staff not immediately help her...seems to me this should have been reversible had someone been on the ball!

I agree that we need to screen EMT's more carefully...I see too many cocky kids going into it for the 'thrill'. Many have watched 'Scrubs' and 'Gray's Anatomy' type shows and think its 'cool' to be an EMT.

As for the mother who said her son was a 'good kid'...well a 'good kid' should also be smart enough to NOT play with medical equipment! Definitely negligent homicide IMHO!!

What a crying shame! sad.gif

Of course my concern with all the AED's out there now is that someone will find a way to mess with those as well. where there's a will there's a way! sad.gif
Success is the best revenge.

It is so hard to believe that someone would play with medical equipment knowing the effect it could have if an accident occured.. my heart goes out to her family............NAWLINSGIRL
